MUSE
ART AND DESIGN + STABILO
ARTIST TRADING CARD CONTEST
July 1 - August 16, 2008
ABOUT
ARTIST TRADING CARDS:
Artist
Trading Cards (ATC's) are an international phenomenon
that started in 1997 when Swiss artist M. Vanci Stirnemann exhibited
1,200
original cards and invited other artists to trade their own cards
with him at the end of the exhibit. More than ten years later,
artists around the world are creating and trading cards at swap
meets and online. Artwork for ATC's can be in any media and style,
but the official size for Artist Trading Cards around the world
is always 2.5 x 3.5 inches. For more information about ATC's,
see the original
Artist
Trading Card website and
the
Wikipedia's
page about
Artist
Trading Cards.
