SKETCHBOOK
WALK
Saturday,
August 13, 9:00-11:30 am
Everyone
had such a good time at our July sketchbook walk that we’re
making it a monthly event! On the second Saturday of each month,
we’ll meet at Muse (or another designated location)
and take a guided walk through neighborhoods, parks, and other
points of interest with several “sketching stops” along
the way. Bring a sketchbook and your favorite tools for drawing.
Perfect drawings are not the goal -- this outing is about having
fun, opening up to new ideas, and looking at surroundings in new
ways! This month’s walk is from Muse to Portland Nursery
on Stark. We’ll start the walk at 9:00am, so be sure to arrive
a few minutes early.
UPPER HAWTHORNE
MIDSUMMER SALE AND CELEBRATION
Saturday, August 20, all day
Bring family, friends, and pets to enjoy specials, giveaways,
music, and treats at shops and restaurants all along Upper Hawthorne

MUSE FREQUENT
BUYER PROGRAM
Although we’re pleased to hear customers comment every day
about how reasonable the prices are at Muse, many customers have
also asked about discounts for students, seniors, and teachers.
In order to provide a discount program that everyone can take part
in, we’re introducing the Muse Frequent Buyer Program. Here’s
how it works:
Get a $10 discount for every $100 you spend at Muse within a 3-month
period.
How to Participate:
Simply ask us to include your name in our database. Each time
you make a purchase, tell us your name so we can track your purchases
to calculate your quarterly discount.
How to Claim Your Discount:
Purchases are tracked during each quarter (Jan-March, April-June, July-Sept, and Oct-Dec). During the month following
each quarter (April, July, October, and January) we will have a
record of your awarded discount on file. You may apply your discount
toward any single purchase you make within that month.
A Few More Details:
-- Please remind us at each purchase if you are participating
in the program. We will not be able to retroactively include amounts
that were not tracked at the time of purchase.
--Your entire discount for each period must be used during a single
visit.
--Unused
discounts cannot be “carried over” beyond
the month immediately following each quarter.
--Certain items may be excluded from additional discounts.
