inspiration MORE FREE ACTIVITIES for ARTISTS

Need some encouragement to keep your art projects going or tips for selling your work? Here are some more events to assist you:

First, we're launching our monthly ARTIST'S DISCUSSION GROUP. A lot of customers have expressed an interest in getting together with fellow artists to exchange ideas about promotion, share critiques on works in progress, and build a support network. Our kickoff meeting for the Discussion Group will be on Tuesday, July 18 at 6:00 p.m. We'll meet in the backroom at Fat Straw (great coffee, bubble tea, and bagel sandwiches!) 4258 SE Hawthorne. The meeting is informal, but please RSVP to Muse (503-231-8704) by Sunday 7/16 so we have an idea how many to expect.

Second, we've invited local artist Ryan Conners to give a talk about SELLING ART ON EBAY. Ryan has become a real pro at listing and regularly selling her art online. She'll share tips and tricks on how to list your original art on Ebay so it gets noticed and gets sold! Ryan's talk will be on Saturday, July 22, 1:00-3:00 pm at Fat Straw 4258 SE Hawthorne. Please RSVP to Muse (503-231-8704) by Wednesday, 7/18.

And don't forget the SKETCHBOOK WALK on Saturday, July 8 and our MEET-THE-ARTIST RECEPTION on Wednesday, July 26 (see sidebar to the left). These are great ways to break out of your routine, meet other artists, and replenish your creative energy with ideas and inspiration!
